BRAND NEW WHIP: PORSCHE PANAMERA

ALL I GOTTA SAY THIS WHIP IS CRAZY!!!!!

A four door Porsche was already supposed to come out in the 90’s. The high development costs almost ruined Porsche as a company. With the successful introduction of their Cayenne jeep, it looked like Porsche could pull off something else aside from their sports cars this time around. Soon the new four door Panamera will be released - the Porsche “Family” car so to speak. Opinions are mixed on the new car, but we have to say, we like it and we like the idea behind it.

Today we get a first look at not only the exterior, but also the interior of the car, which offers all four passengers full seats and of course everything else you would expect from a luxury car. We cannot wait to see it on the roads.

SHYNE ON THE VERGE OF PRISON RELEASE

I PRAY THAT THEY RELEASE MY FAM "SHYNE" SOME MIGHT KNOW BUT WE GO BACK WAY BACK HE WAS ALWAYS A GOOD DUDE AND I HOPE THIS TIME THEY RELEASE HIM LETS PRAY FOR THE BIG HOMIE .......I KNOW HE GOT SOME SHIT TO GET OF HIS CHEST WOOOOWWW I CANT WAIT TO HEAR IT

After serving roughly eight years of a ten year sentence for his role in the infamous Club New York shooting on December 27, 1999, Shyne looks to be finally on the verge of release. The attorney for the former Bad Boy Records artist spoke to HipHopDX earlier today to clarify the details of his client’s pending parole, as well as provide some insight into Shyne Po’s post-prison plans.

“We’re hoping for April,” said Shyne’s legal counsel, Oscar Michelen, of when he is anticipating his client’s release from the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in Sullivan County, New York. “[But] they don’t normally let you know [the exact release date] until right before it happens.”

Mr. Michelen went on to clarify that, “A parole hearing is scheduled for June. And if they don’t release him prior to that date, then he gets his parole hearing. But they can advance that depending on the situation at the jail at that particular time. And we’re under the belief that it might very well be advanced [to April].”

Shyne’s stellar personal conduct while incarcerated should contribute to his likely parole this spring.

“He’s been an exemplirary inmate,” Michelen told DX of the now 30-year-old Shyne (who legally changed his name in 2006 from Jamal Barrow to Moses Michael Leviy upon converting to Judaism). “He’s had no problems, been very positive. As a matter of fact, myself and another person were scheduled to go up [on] the 26th of February [to see him]. There’s a dinner in honor of African-American History Month, and so Moses [is] participating in that. And he’s also coordinating, getting some speakers to talk about how things have affected the criminal justice system in the last few years, [and] what we think the affect of the new presidency will be on issues affecting minorities. So he’s always been involved in many positive things at the jail and has never had a problem at all whatsoever. So, he’d be the perfect candidate for [parole]. The only knock against him was that he was convicted of a crime that’s considered a violent crime.”

Shyne was charged and subsequently convicted in March 2001 of four charges—including first degree assault—for allegedly firing multiple shots into the crowded Club New York (and striking three people) after a fellow patron named Michael “Scar” Allen approached Sean “Diddy” Combs, Diddy’s then girlfriend actress/singer Jennifer Lopez, Shyne and their additional entourage and taunted the Bad Boy CEO by throwing money at him.

Diddy was acquitted of all criminal charges for his alleged role in the melee that night. But a subsequent civil lawsuit was filed against both the Bad Boy founder and his then artist by Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident and is now seeking a $130 million dollar settlement [click to read].

“The matter is still pending in court and we’re awaiting a trial date,” revealed Mr. Michelen, who also represents Shyne in this civil case in addition to providing the rapper’s criminal defense. “Both Mr. Combs and Shyne are being sued; they’re [both] defendants. I’d rather not comment on Mr. Combs’ aspect of it. I can comment on my client. He’s got his own lawyer. But [Shyne] is still a defendant in the lawsuit. There are going to be motions to dismiss. And I guess a judge will ultimately determine whether it goes to trial or not.”

Mr. Michelen did not wish to reveal when asked by DX whether or not Shyne had been deposed in the civil suit yet. Shyne’s testimony was reported to have taken place last year following Diddy’s deposition in March of ’08—marking the first time Shyne would have gone on record (he did not testify during his criminal proceedings in 2001) about the events that took place at Club New York and whether he was or was not acting in defense or under the order of his then label boss, Diddy (Shyne’s then trial attorney claimed that a person in Allen’s entourage shot first) when he fired into the club. Shyne will likely remain on parole for nearly two years following his release, until the maximum expiration date of his sentence on March 12, 2011. Once the aforementioned civil proceeding against him is adjudicated he should be free of any legal entanglements for the first time in more than a decade.

And according to his attorney, the Belize-born/Brooklyn-raised unacknowledged son of Belizean Prime Minister Dean Barrow [click to read] who went on to gold success as a rapper (first noted for his uncanny vocal similarities to The Notorious B.I.G.) is eager to resume his life free of the criminal justice system.

“I [can] only speak as his lawyer and his friend,” began Mr. Michelen, “but I know he’s anxious to get back into the recording industry. He’s got a lot to say. And people are anxious to hear it.”

“He’s a very spiritual person in general, very committed [to his faith],” he continued. “And of course he wants to see his family. He wants to be able to make decisions for himself for the first time in years. He’s a bright man. He’s still got a lot of things to say. And I think he’s going to try to make the most positive impact out of this very negative experience that he possibly can. And if anybody can do it, he can. He’s a tremendous person. He really is so much more than just a musical artist. And I think he’s gonna be a force.”

DIDDY's NEXT ALBUM TO BE CALLED "LAST TRAIN TO PARIS"

P. Diddy has revealed his new album title as 'Last Train To Paris', but the record is not expected for release until September.

Combs confirmed the name of the follow-up to 2006's last album 'Press Play', during an episode of his MTV show Making The Band 4.

Diddy has worked with T-Pain on the LP and he's described the pair's time in the studio. "T-Pain gave me permission to use the vocoder, the Auto-Tune, and he showed me various tricks that nobody knows but him and myself."

Dawn Richard (formerly of Combs' old band Danity Kane) is also said to be starring on 'Last Train To Paris'.

The hip-hop mogul is also rumored to be working on two other projects - acting as producer for actor Joaquin Phoenix as he attempts to launch a rap career - and working on the debut album by X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

RIHANNA TO CHRIS "YOUR APOLOGY DONT MEAN SH*T"

Ri Ri wants Chris to know that his apology is totally worthless in her eyes:

Singer Rihanna’s camp has declined to officially comment on Chris Brown’s apology statement, but sources say that the “Umbrella” crooner is “appalled” by Brown’s statement.

“All of us, including Rihanna, don’t understand how he can say he’s sorry on the one hand, but still… does not admit any guilt,” a Barbados pal of Rihanna tells the Chicago Sun-Times. “He should have expressed more contrition.”

After a week of negative press for Chris subsequent to the alleged abuse of Rihanna, Brown released a statement saying he was “sorry and saddened… over what transpired,” but did not go into detail about the altercation.

A source close to the Rihanna told the newspaper that RiRi is “royally pissed off” at what she calls Brown’s “cavalier and arrogant statement.”

Both singers are currently keeping a low profile. Chris is due in court March 5

KANYE WEST says HE GAVE "JAY Z THE BEST BEATS HE EVER MADE FOR BLUEPRINT 3"

Kanye West recently revealed some new info about Jay-Z's upcoming album, The Blueprint 3. According to 'Ye, he's close to wrapping up the album.

Via an interview with Sway and Tech's "Wake Up Show" last week, the super-producer discussed the upcoming highly-anticipated solo project from Jay.

"I finished his album and he released four songs that were potentially gonna be on the album," West said. "So I gotta go back and do four. I just did one beat the other day in Hawaii -- probably one of the best hip-hop beats of all time, if I do say so myself. I just gotta do three more beats and we're done, 'cause he's got classics. He's got songs that are better than any of the things you've heard leaked."

According to MTV, two records that Kanye says should make B3's final cut are "Everyday a Star is Born" and "Forever Young."

While 'Ye isn't shy about bragging about his skills, he explained that each year, he's got about two albums worth of his best production, and this year, one is The Blueprint.

"You know what it was -- every year I do two albums' worth of really dope beats," he explained. "This year, Common did his album with Pharrell, and I did 808s & Heartbreak and Blueprint 3. So just imagine the caliber of beats on the last two Common albums I did -- Jay-Z has those types of beats. Those caliber of beats. A beat like 'The People,' that's the highest caliber of beat."

As far as a new project for himself, the Chicago rapper said he'll make sure to set aside some beats, but this time around, he'll rap more. However, he said he'll sing a little as well because the auto-tune put him "in the mode of doing melodies."

His latest worth he revealed is a collabo with Beyonce called "Ego." But didn't divulge any further info about the track.

At press time, there was no official release date for Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3.

SHA MONEY XL TALKS ONE STOP CONFERENCE,50 CENT & DJ PREMIER

Sha Money XL The onetime G-Unit President and longtime production coordinator for 50 Cent [click to read] and G-Unit Records announced some details about his upcoming annual One Stop Producer's Conference [click here], May 9 and 10 in Phoenix, Arizona.

This year, Sha Money revealed that fans asked for different panelists, speakers and producers, and he met those requests. "Normally, I kind of put in the whole panel based on who I would like to see, and who I think [attendees] would like to see. This year, on my site [MoneyManagementXL.com], I asked questions to all the members of the site. They'd email me, saying 'Listen, I want to see this person, this person, this person.' So I took a tally of all the emails that came in, and completely gave these guys who they asked to see." Those requests led to Sha involving producers such as Pete Rock [click to read] and Evidence [click to read] in these year's festivities.

"I made it totally the experience they're looking for," added. The Queens native said that this year's event speaks to his own heroes and inspirations of the craft. "These are people who I appreciate, and the music and the legacy that they're leavin' with us, and creating it for us as Hip Hop. It's not like they're asking to see some Pop producer that ain't really Hip Hop. Pete Rock, [DJ Premier], that's the best it gets. I love that part."

In addition to the aforementioned guests, Sha has also emphasized stronger technology panels and more product demonstrations. This year in particular, he added, there are a lot of new machines and equipment geared towards Hip Hop production.

Having mentioned DJ Premier's continued involvement in One Stop, Sha Money was also asked about the highly-talked about collaboration, "Shut Your Bloodclot Mouth" [click to listen] between the famed producer and 50 Cent. "That was single-handedly me. [50 Cent] passed on the beat the first time. I re-sent it to 50's engineer, Ky Miller and he played it again for 50 while 50 was in the studio. He got it this time; 50 got it. All of a sudden, 'Shut Your Bloodclot Mouth' is everywhere, all over the Internet. He killed it!"

The reaction to the leak caused Sha Money to want to finish the epic collaboration. "I called him and said, '50, you've got to finish this record. This shit is crazy.' There's certain records you get calls on, 'cause you can feel the energy. That was one record, that I told him was big. He's not into names. He don't care who produces the track. He don't want to sit in the studio with these guys or nothin'; he want to make his record. So when this particular record hit the streets, the feedback was so fuckin' monstrous, it was like, 'Know what Fif? You've got to finish this song.' So we're working on that now."

The effort was reportedly a response to numerous fans and critics asking the veteran Hip Hop artists to come together. "He just wanted to get it out, 'cause he knew Hip Hop really wanted it. He heard it when you asked about it. He heard when Premo talked about the record not being played. He heard everything. So 50 really listens to what people really want. And he went back in and fuckin' in."

As for the changes, Sha Money XL said that the mixing was underway. "You know Premo gotta do scratches; it's still a work in progress. He had [scratches] there, but 50 didn't use them [the first time]. It's still a work in progress." The song will thus reportedly change before appearing on the upcoming Before I Self Destruct.

Perhaps the biggest news Sha Money XL offered DX though, was a change in his career. "My management, and you and HipHopDX will be the first to know, I'm changing the dynamics of my management. I'm gonna focus more on me, back again as a producer. It's gonna be a squad. It's gonna be me leadin' the way, but I'm gonna get some talented producers and other musicians with me - this mega-production crew. It's sort of like what The Hitmen was. It's not a Neptunes; it's not two guys. It's gonna be a squad." The crew has yet to confirm a name or specific members, besides the aforementioned Ky Miller.

For Sha, a producer who entered Hip Hop producing for Cormega, Proof and Juvenile, he says he's eager to get back to his craft. "I've got some collections of records that I just dug out. I've got so much shit I've been overlookin' and not getting into because I've been doing business. Now I've been on my Reason, my Recycle, I'm back, my boy Ky Miller is kickin' ass. I watched him from makin' his first beat from scratch till now. He did that first Rick Ross diss record ["Officer Ricky (Go Head, Try Me)]" [click to listen] that's out now, and a whole bunch of other joints. I really want to get back to it. You're gonna see a dynamic change. I'm really about getting back to what brought me into this industry, which was making music."

He eagerly touted, "I'm comin' back. You know me, I'm B-boy. So I'm comin' back with some samples, some live instruments, and my drums is gonna be killer! I'ma do a drum CD too. No wack joints. I'm comin' wid' it!"
